David Pollak's Visi.Pro project provides a simple and powerful way for anybody to write programs for the iPad. The Visi language (open sourced at http://visi.io) is a statically typed, lazy, pure functional language. Some people might see that the language description is a null set (easy vs. lazy, static, pure) while others might think of statically typed Excel. David will explore the language and the design decisions that attempt to rectify the divergent goals for Visi.
