I just uploaded a new version of the Project Extender - it supports VS2010 (the original one only supported VS2008, long story)

This is not getting nearly enough attention! Finally a tool that allows us to manage the directory structure of F# projects conveniently from the solution explorer.

The compilation order has been moved to its own dedicated place - excellent!

Mike, thanks heaps for your efforts. It works wonderfully and makes managing large F# projects very simple.

For those using this extension, I am curious to know what kind of directory structure you're using for your files; information about these scenarios could inform our plans for future releases.

Not to repeat myself, but the F# Project extender was initially a part of the Bistro Project - an MVC framewrok supporting creating web apps in F#. I wanted to follow the same directory structure as with any other web project - with Views kept separate from Controllers, from Models, etc. For even a simple web application its structure can have up to a dozen top level directories like Areas, Content, Controllers, Models, Scripts, Views, etc. Each one can be further separated into subdirectories following the structure of the application.

To be able to build real life apps in F# we needed to be able to do the same in F#. And when I built this for web apps I realized that web apps are not the only apps where this ability can be beneficial. So the standalone F# extender was born. I already use it for NDjango project as well as my other F# projects
