thanks for the report! I have updated to VS 15.8.3 but haven't encountered this error yet even on projects using older versions of WS 4.x. Maybe this happens around just some of the method calls using byrefs.

There is a newer release of FSharp.Compiler.Service that WebSharper currently uses, and that should have the 4.5 language features covered, hopefully solving this problem. I will update to it and release it soon.
